Tippah neighbors get grant for county wide fiber optic internet

Amidst Concerns over spotty internet service in Tippah County, an area adjoining to us is making plans for super high speed fiber optic internet.

And they got a grant to do it.

Hardeman County in Tennessee is getting a matching grant worth nearly $200,000 to help bring county wide high speed internet.

Mississippi Northern District PSC is Working on a similar plan involving offering internet services through locally owned power association co-ops.

Millions in federal grant dollars are available for projects like this.
