Today is the first day of fall and lower temperatures and heavy storms are in the forecast. Lows will be in the 60’s and rains producing lightning and heavy rainfall are in the area.
The NWS is predicting that some areas in north Mississippi could get up to 5 inches of rainfall through midweek.
