A shooting has occurred in Tippah county on Thursday September 27th 2018 that has left one dead, according to family members of the victim.
Around 10:30 a.m. Derrick Glass, of the Palmer community, was shot and killed. According to law enforcement sources, a man has been taken in to custody in conjunction with the murder. That man was identified by family members of the victim as Ricky Childers of Ripley.
