Extreme weather looking likely, damaging weather winds, hail, tornadoes possible

An extreme weather event is looking more likely according to models put out by the national weather service. Forecasts are showing heavy rain, damaging winds and the possibility of tornadoes.

The event is scheduled to be in our area Monday and into Wednesday.

According to MEMA:

Severe Weather Alert: The National Weather Service forecasts are pointing to the possibility of a pretty significant severe weather event on Monday. MEMA will provide updates throughout the weekend.
