Dangerously low wind chills, rain changing over to snow with cold front in forecast

Wind chill values approaching single digits and the possibility of snow in the coming week are in the forecast according to the national weather service.

From NWS:

Wind chill values will drop into the single digits tonight into Friday morning across portions of Northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and Northwest Tennessee. Arctic air will usher into the Mid-South behind a cold front late Monday afternoon into Monday Night. Rain will change over to snow.

Please continue to monitor upcoming forecasts as uncertainty remains with the accumulations of the snowfall. Wind chill values may drop into the single digits Tuesday morning across portions of Northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and Northwest Tennessee. Wind chill values may drop to zero Tuesday Night into Wednesday morning across the same locations.
