Schools in Prentiss County closed tomorrow due to potential for roads to flood
In the wake of all the warning about inclement weather, the Baldwyn School District, Booneville School district and and Prentiss County school district is closing tomorrow, the districts announced via Facebook.
With a high likelihood of more rain and severe weather warning, the district announced at 845 pm on Thursday to close for Friday.
Some forecasts are calling for the possibility for up to 8 more inches of rain and some roads in the area are already showing signs of flooding.
Other schools in North Mississippi are also closing.
