Tippah County animal rescue saves more lives this week, lists available adoptions

Another week has come and gone in Tippah County and more lives were saved. On Saturday, six puppies were transported to Virginia to new homes.

This was all thanks to volunteers networking through Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County and Wolf Trap Animal Rescue. The puppies were found abandoned on a county road last month and have been living in foster care since.

The organization also helped get “Opie”, a blue heeler found in Tippah County, to a rescue in Texas. Last week, a senior dog named Lady was also placed into a foster home and is available for adoption, along with Bella, Belle and Gracie and Riley, who were all mentioned in their last update. Their pictures are all below.

“As always, we NEED help from the community in the form of donations, foster care, and transportation of animals. Please contact us through our Facebook page: Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County,” the organization told us.
