Possibility for large hail, damaging winds in mid-week forecast

The majority of Mississippi, including all of North Mississippi, is under a marginal to slight risk of severe weather for the middle of this week.

According to the National Weather Service in Memphis:

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible over Eastern Arkansas, Southwest Tennessee, and North Mississippi on Thursday. Large hail will be the main threat from these storms. An active weather pattern will set up next weekend into early next week. A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible during this time period

The timing for these storms is mid morning to mid evening.
