Local animal rescue working to save Tippah County animal found near death

A local animal rescue group is working to save an animal found near death in Tippah County.

From the Animal Rescue Group:

“The Animal Foster & Rescue is asking the community for help in treating a puppy found in Blue Mountain. She was hit by a car several days ago, leaving her with a badly broken leg and several broken teeth. A representative of the Rescue currently has her now and she will be going to a veterinarian tomorrow morning. Her leg will likely have to be amputated. Right now, she is in a tremendous amount of pain and needs your help to get well! Donations can be made directly to Baldwyn Veterinary Hospital where she will be receiving care. Donations via credit/debit card can be called in to 662-365-8605 or checks can be made out to “Baldwyn Veterinary Hospital” and mailed to them at 1051 Ripley Rd Baldwyn, MS 38852.

The Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County greatly appreciates any help that the people of Tippah and surrounding counties can offer!”
