Police in North MS arrest man with 10 pounds of meth and multiple firearms

Police in North MS have arrested a man with a large quantity of meth and multiple firearms.

From the Lee County Sheriffs Department:

On Friday, October 18, 2019, the U.S. Marshals and Lee County Sheriff’s Department served an arrest warrant for Edward Glenn Glass at 455 County Road 1199, Plantersville, MS. Glass had been wanted for a Drug Court violation
since 2015. Lee County Sheriff’s Department/North MS Narcotics Unit then executed a search warrant.

During the search of the residence, Agents discovered a large amount of methamphetamine and twelve firearms inside the residence. Edward Glenn Glass was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute, Methamphetamine (Aggravated Trafficking), and Possession of a Firearm by a prior Convicted Felon.

During the investigation, Agents had received information from multiple sources in the past several months that illegal drug activity was taking place at the 455 Lee County Road 1199
location. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Edward Glenn Glass – 44 Years Old
Address: 455 Lee County Road 1199, Plantersville, MS
Charges:
1) Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute Methamphetamine, (Aggravated Trafficking).
2) Possession of a Firearm by a prior Convicted Felon.

Seizures:
Approximately 10 lbs of Methamphetamine and 12 firearms.
Justice Court Judge Chuck Hopkins set Edward Glass a bond of 2 million dollars.
