Dodges in Ripley issued a public notice after an employee of the store tested positive for COVID19.
From the store:
Dodge’s said they received news on Monday, April 6, that an employee at their store located at 104 MS-15 in Ripley, MS has just tested positive for coronavirus. The employee last worked on Wednesday, April 1.
Dodge’s has notified the local and state health departments about the positive test results.
Dodge’s has notified all other employees who were working with the employee during the days prior to April 1. The company said none of the other employees have reported any symptoms of illness. But as a precaution, Dodge’s has requested that all employees self-quarantine at their homes through April 15, a full two weeks from the last day the employee worked at the store.
The company said the store was closed yesterday afternoon so it could be professionally cleaned and sanitized last night by a third-party professional service specializing in coronavirus sanitation. “We are following the CDC’s guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing,” Rick Tudor, VP of Dodge’s, said. “Our main concern has been, and will continue to be, the safety of our team members and Guests.”
Dodge’s said they will reopen, but with limited hours and a limited product offering, since staff from other nearby locations will be assisting during the next two weeks. Dodge’s expects to resume normal operations and hours after all employees return to work on April 16.
Dodge’s said this is the only coronavirus issue at any of their locations.
