Authorities seek two men in Tupelo Walmart jewelry theft
Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department said they are seeking the public’s help locating two men who stole jewelry from a Tupelo Walmart on Feb. 11.
The agencies said the incident occurred at about 1:25 p.m. at the Walmart at 2270 West Main Street. While inside the store, the two unknown males went to the jewelry section, concealed multiple items and left without paying. The total value of the stolen merchandise exceeds $5,000, officials said.
Those with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers of NE MS at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or to download the P3 Tip App and submit an anonymous tip, Crime Stoppers said. The organization said it will pay up to $2,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest.
Crime Stoppers said it does not want tipsters’ names, only information. Officials also asked the public to share the QR code for the P3 Tip App to help with the investigation.
