Northeast Mississippi Crime Stoppers Seek Help in Fugitive Search

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the public’s help in locating Richard Hawks.

Hawks is a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 178 pounds. Authorities describe him as having green eyes and thinning red hair. He is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.

Anyone with information about Hawks’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or use the P3 Tips app to leave an anonymous tip. Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to Hawks’ arrest. Officials emphasize that they do not need the tipster’s name, only their information.
