Police seek suspect in vehicle theft in Tupelo

Tupelo police and Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a vehicle theft on West Main Street. The incident was reported on March 24, 2026, according to authorities.

Police say a victim reported that a suspect stole a white and orange leaf blower from his vehicle. Surveillance footage from a nearby business shows the possible suspect, described as a white male wearing a blue T-shirt and a white hat. The suspect was believed to have left the scene in a white GMC SUV with a handicap sticker.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or use the P3 Tip App to leave a tip. Crime Stoppers offers up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest. Authorities emphasize that tipsters’ identities will remain anonymous and that Crime Stoppers only wants their information, not their names.
