50-year-old man wounded in Jackson shooting

A 50-year-old man was wounded in a shooting April 4 on the 4400 block of Medgar Evers Boulevard in Jackson, the Jackson Police Department said.

Detective Tommie Brown of the Jackson Police Department said the victim was shot once and was transported to a local hospital.

Brown said the injury was non-life-threatening.
