Booneville Man Sentenced to 13 Years for Meth Charges
A Booneville man will serve over a decade in prison following drug-related convictions.
Timothy Tidwell, 56, pled guilty to the sale and possession of methamphetamine in Circuit Court. Because the offenses occurred while he was on post-release supervision, his supervision was revoked. Circuit Court Judge Kelly L. Mims sentenced Tidwell to 13 years in prison, followed by five years of post-release supervision.
The investigations were conducted by officers with the Prentiss County and Itawamba County Sheriff’s Departments, both part of the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit. Assistant District Attorneys Kyle Robbins and Reagan Wise prosecuted the cases on behalf of the state.
