International Paper to build $225 million packaging plant in Mississippi
Memphis-based International Paper announced Friday it will build a $225 million sustainable packaging facility on 80 acres in Brandon, Mississippi, the company said.
The new 486,000-square-foot plant will be located near the company’s existing box plant in Richland, International Paper said.
The company said employees at the Richland facility will transition to the new plant after it is built.
International Paper described the project as a sustainable packaging facility in its announcement Friday.
