A 24-year-old man died after being shot early March 22 at a Jackson sports bar, police said.
The shooting happened at Last Call Sports Bar in the 6300 block of Ridgewood Road around 2:30 a.m., Jackson police said. The victim was identified as Joshua Butler, 24.
Jackson police said Butler was shot following a fight at the location. They did not immediately provide further details about the circumstances of the shooting.
The department said the incident remains under investigation. The report was first published by WJTV.
