Mississippi ABC warehouse backlog delays orders at liquor stores

A backlog at the Mississippi Alcohol Beverage Control warehouse has delayed orders and strained local liquor stores in Madison County, WJTV reported.

Richard Peaster, co-owner of Madison Cellars, said the delays have affected the shelves at his store. “Today, we received an order that was placed on January 22nd,” Peaster told WJTV.

Other local store owners told WJTV they are feeling the strain of the ABC warehouse backlog.

WJTV reported the situation and quoted store owners describing the impact on deliveries and inventory.
