President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the United States launched major combat operations against Iran, and many Mississippi leaders reacted publicly, WJTV reported.
Trump campaigned on avoiding foreign conflicts, and WJTV reported that the action represents his second major military intervention abroad in 2026.
