Mississippi State’s nonconference wins stand out among SEC, analysts say
Mississippi State’s early nonconference performance has stood out in the Southeastern Conference, Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk said.
Hadad and Faulk said nearly every SEC school has suffered an unexpected loss to an inferior opponent in the early weeks of the season. They said that has not been the case for the Bulldogs.
The analysts noted Mississippi State has lost only to two top-10 teams so far, a record they said contrasts with the league-wide trend.
Hadad and Faulk discussed those early returns on the Diamond Dawgs as SEC play begins this week, and said the coming conference schedule will further test the team’s form.
