More than 14,000 lose power after storms hit central Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — More than 14,000 Entergy Mississippi customers were without power as of 5:15 p.m. Saturday, March 7, the utility said.

The majority of the outages were reported in Hinds, Madison and Rankin counties, Entergy Mississippi said.

Thunderstorms moved through central Mississippi Saturday, WJTV reported.
