Former president Donald Trump said Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is dead and that “bombings will continue,” in a post on his Truth Social account Saturday, the Mississippi Free Press reported.
In the post, Trump called the development the “greatest chance” for Iranians to take back their country, according to the Mississippi Free Press.
The Truth Social post was made Saturday afternoon, the Mississippi Free Press reported. The outlet said it was the first to report the post.
The statements were attributed to Trump’s Truth Social account and reported by the Mississippi Free Press. The report did not provide independent confirmation of the claim about Khamenei’s status.
