Two people were killed in a crash on Highway 552 West in Jefferson County just before 9 a.m. on Feb. 28, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
The patrol said a 2018 Nissan Altima was traveling east when it left the road and collided. The agency did not provide further details about what the vehicle struck.
The patrol did not release the names or ages of the victims and did not immediately say whether anyone else was injured, the agency said.
Troopers are investigating the crash, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
