Biden’s Friends Express Concern Over Fatigue During Prostate Cancer Treatment

Friends of President Joe Biden are concerned about his health as he battles an aggressive form of prostate cancer, according to reports. While aides say he is doing well, some have noted increased tiredness, which they attribute to his treatment, The Washington Post reported.

Four friends who recently spoke with Biden said they have not received updates about his health but observed that he appears more fatigued in recent weeks. They linked this to the stress of managing his cancer and ongoing therapies. A fifth person told the outlet that Biden remains active, engaged, and optimistic about his prognosis, citing his positive response to treatment.

Biden, 83, continues his work, including writing his memoir and preparing for public appearances, his aides said. He is scheduled to visit South Carolina on Feb. 27 to mark the sixth anniversary of his primary victory in the state.

In 2025, Biden’s office announced he was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones. Medical experts describe the condition as incurable. The diagnosis included a Gleason score of 9, indicating a highly aggressive cancer likely to spread quickly, especially to the spine.

His team reported that he was undergoing radiation therapy at Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology in Philadelphia and had been receiving hormone therapy. On Oct. 20, 2025, Biden completed his radiation treatment and rang a ceremonial bell, a moment his daughter, Ashley Biden, called a small celebration in his fight against cancer.

Despite his diagnosis, Biden has continued to attend major events, including the funerals of Pope Francis, Dick Cheney, and Tatiana Schlossberg. Fox News Digital reached out to Biden’s office for comment.
