Nathan is a Navy veteran and a union leader. He ran for the Tampa-area seat in Hillsborough County.

Decision Desk HQ said the win adds to the party’s growing number of overperformances and flipped seats in recent months.

Florida Senate District 14 includes part of Hillsborough County. Tomkow is a Republican member of the Florida House seeking the seat.
