The Department of Homeland Security identified the person accused of attacking a Michigan synagogue on Thursday as Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a Lebanese citizen, the agency said in a statement to The Hill.
DHS said Ghazali was born in Lebanon on Jan. 4, 1985, a DHS spokesperson said.
The identification was provided to The Hill in a DHS statement, the agency said. DHS did not provide additional information in the statement published by the news outlet.
