DHS to pause TSA PreCheck, Global Entry as shutdown continues
The Department of Homeland Security will pause two trusted-traveler programs starting Sunday as a shutdown of the department stretches into a second week, The Washington Post reported.
The Washington Post said the programs affected are TSA PreCheck and Global Entry. The report said the programs would temporarily cease.
Both programs are meant to expedite the Transportation Security Administration’s airport screening process, The Washington Post reported.
The Washington Post did not immediately provide additional details on how long the pause would last or how it would affect travelers.
