Duke No. 1 overall seed in men’s tournament; UConn women get top seed
The NCAA announced on Selection Sunday that Duke will be the No. 1 overall seed in the men’s NCAA basketball tournament, the association said.
The selection committee released the brackets Sunday and placed Duke atop the men’s field, the NCAA said in its announcement.
In the women’s tournament, top-ranked UConn received a No. 1 seed and enters the tournament undefeated. The Huskies hope to repeat as champions for the first time in a decade, the UConn program said.
