Enrique Tarrio posted a photo Saturday showing him alongside Sen. Marco Rubio at the inaugural “Shield of the Americas” summit in Florida, Tarrio said in a post on X.
Tarrio, a far-right activist and former national chair of the Proud Boys, shared the image on his X account, according to the post.
The post included a caption that read in part ‘Proud of…,’ according to Tarrio’s X post. The remainder of the caption was not provided.
The photo and caption were posted on X on Saturday, Tarrio’s post shows. No response from Rubio’s office was included in the post.
