Iran fires two ballistic missiles toward Diego Garcia, report says

Iran launched two ballistic missiles toward a joint U.S.-U.K. military base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean on Friday, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Officials told the Journal the strikes did not hit the base on Diego Garcia, a small island in the Chagos Archipelago.

The Journal reported that one of the missiles failed in flight.
