Jimmy Kimmel to host Los Angeles fundraiser for House Democrats
Jimmy Kimmel will headline a fundraiser to support House Democrats, according to reports from the New York Times and Politico. The event is scheduled for March 10 in Los Angeles and will feature House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, sources said.
Tickets for the benefit dinner range from $25,000 to more than $300,000, according to invitations reviewed by reporters. Two individuals familiar with the event, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed its details to Politico. Fox News Digital reached out to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Kimmel’s representatives for comment.
Kimmel has a history of supporting Democratic candidates and causes. In June 2024, he hosted a similar event in Los Angeles to raise money for then-President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign. That event featured celebrities such as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Barack Obama, and reportedly raised over $30 million.
The fundraiser gained attention after a clip circulated online showing what appeared to be Obama guiding Biden off a stage. Biden later dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. Kimmel has also endorsed and campaigned for other Democratic figures, including Kamala Harris and Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen.
