Just 27 percent of Americans back U.S. strikes on Iran, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Sunday found that 27 percent of Americans approve of Operation Epic Fury.

The poll said that amounts to roughly one in four respondents supporting the strikes.

Reuters reported that the operation was launched early Saturday by the United States in coordination with Israel.

The survey underscores limited public backing for the U.S. action as Washington conducts strikes involving Iran, according to Reuters/Ipsos.
