NASA targets April 1 launch for Artemis II crewed moon mission

NASA said it is targeting April 1 to open a six-day launch window for the Artemis II crewed mission to the moon. The launch window would begin at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

NASA described Artemis II as a lunar orbital mission. The agency said the flight would mark the first time humans have returned to the moon since Apollo 17 in 1972.
