Oil prices rose sharply after attacks in the Middle East disrupted supply, the report said.

The report said U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, followed by retaliatory strikes against Israel and U.S. military installations around the Gulf, sent disruptions through the global energy supply chain.

Those disruptions drove prices higher in market trading, the report said.
