The Pentagon named six service members who were killed when a KC-135 Stratotanker crashed in Iraq, the department said.
Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons was among those killed, the Pentagon said.
A Pentagon photo released with the announcement shows Simmons aboard a KC-135 Stratotanker in 2023 during a flight at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Ohio, the department said.
The Pentagon said the six were crew members of the refueling plane that crashed in Iraq.
