Republicans say deal would end record-long DHS shutdown
Republicans in Congress said they have a deal to end the record-long shutdown at the Department of Homeland Security.
Under the plan, the agency would be funded through September, except for immigration enforcement, Republicans said.
Republicans said they would then try to fund the entire agency for three years using a procedural tactic that would not require Democratic votes.
