Former President Donald Trump said he has no problem with a Russian tanker delivering oil to Cuba, responding to a New York Times report on the shipment.
When asked if the report was accurate, Trump told reporters, “If a country wants to send some oil into Cuba right now, I have no problem whether it’s Russia or not.”
The comments come amid questions about international oil shipments to Cuba and U.S. policies on such transactions.
Officials have not provided additional details about the tanker or the shipment.
