Trump says he’s ‘thrilled’ FCC chair is reviewing broadcast licenses

President Donald Trump said Sunday he was “thrilled” that Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr was reviewing license renewal applications for broadcast corporations, after Trump accused the media of perpetuating lies about Iran, Trump said.

“I am so thrilled to see Brendan Carr, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), looking at the licenses of…,” Trump said Sunday.

Trump did not provide further details in his remarks.
