Tyler Linderbaum $81M deal headlines Raiders’ free-agent spree
Center Tyler Linderbaum agreed to a three-year, $81 million contract with $60 million guaranteed, Fox News Digital reported, making him the highest-paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history, ESPN reported.
Linderbaum, 25, was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens and anchored the Ravens’ line while snapping to quarterback Lamar Jackson, Fox News Digital reported. The Ravens’ coaching change this offseason left his return in doubt, and Las Vegas made a substantial offer to lure him to the AFC West.
The Raiders opened the legal tampering period Monday with $111.91 million in cap space, Fox News Digital reported, and moved quickly to add multiple veteran defenders. Linebacker Quay Walker agreed to a three-year, $40.5 million deal with $28 million guaranteed, his agents said. Nakobe Dean is set to make $36 million with $20 million guaranteed, Fox News Digital reported.
Las Vegas also reached deals for defensive lineman Kwity Paye — a three-year, $48 million contract with $32 million guaranteed — and re-signed cornerback Eric Stokes (three years, $30 million) and defensive end Malcom Koonce (one year, $11 million), Fox News Digital reported.
The Raiders added receiver Jalen Nailor on a three-year, $35 million deal with $23 million guaranteed, Fox News Digital reported. The team still holds significant cap room and the first overall pick in next month’s NFL draft, where it is expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza as it begins a new era under coach Klint Kubiak, Fox News Digital reported.
