Vance postpones CBS News town hall ‘due to the war,’ network says

Vice President Vance has postponed a CBS News town hall that was scheduled for next week, the network said Thursday.

CBS said the move was made “due to the war” in the Middle East, according to a statement posted on the social platform X.

“A new date and more details to come soon,” the network said in the statement.

The network did not immediately provide additional details about a rescheduled date or other changes, CBS said.

The statement said Vance had been scheduled to participate in the town hall next week.
