Free Gardening Class in Ripley to Feature Master Gardener Robbie Duckworth
Local gardening enthusiasts will have an opportunity to learn from an expert later this month as Mrs. Robbie Duckworth leads a free educational session on Wednesday, August 28. The event will take place from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at The James D. Nunnally Center for Community Health, located at 749 S. Line Street in Ripley.
During the class, attendees will discover how to become a certified Master Gardener, gain practical tips for creating and maintaining a thriving garden in North Mississippi, and learn about the critical role honey bees play in the ecosystem — along with ways to support their survival. The session will conclude with a Q&A segment, giving participants a chance to ask Duckworth questions directly.
Organizers say the event is open to the public and free of charge.
