ATHENS, Tenn. — The Blue Mountain Christian baseball team split a doubleheader against Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday. The Toppers won the first game 9-6 before losing the second 12-2.
In the opener, Blue Mountain showed depth and timely hitting to secure the victory. However, the nightcap proved challenging against a strong Tennessee Wesleyan lineup, resulting in a lopsided loss.
The doubleheader marked Blue Mountain Christian’s first win of the season and provided valuable experience against a competitive opponent.
