BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. — The Blue Mountain Christian men’s basketball team played with energy and purpose but fell short against Dalton State College on Saturday night at Tyler Gymnasium.
The game was part of Southern States Athletic Conference action. Blue Mountain Christian kept the contest competitive but ultimately lost by a 90-80 margin, according to school officials.
The team’s effort was notable, but Dalton State managed to secure the victory in the closing minutes. The result leaves Blue Mountain Christian with a record of 0-1 in conference play.
