Blue Mountain Christian’s men’s basketball team suffered an 89-63 loss to Life University in an SSAC game Saturday at Tyler Gymnasium.
The Toppers battled but could not overcome the Running Eagles’ offensive effort. Life University built a double-digit lead in the first half and maintained control throughout the game.
Blue Mountain Christian’s players, according to coach John Doe, fought hard but struggled to contain the Eagles’ scoring. The loss drops the Toppers’ record in conference play to 5-7.
Next, Blue Mountain Christian is scheduled to face Southern State University on Tuesday, according to team officials.
