Booneville Woman Sentenced to 25 Years for Burglary, Weapon, and Drug Charges
A Booneville woman has been sentenced to 25 years in prison following multiple felony convictions in Alcorn County Circuit Court.
According to First District Attorney Jason Herring, Keisha Warren, 40, of Booneville, pled guilty to burglary of a dwelling, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell.
Circuit Court Judge Kelly L. Mims handed down the sentence on Thursday, November 6, ordering Warren to serve 25 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, followed by five years of post-release supervision.
The convictions stemmed from investigations by the Booneville Police Department and the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department, with Detective Karl Courtney serving as lead investigator. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Kyle Robbins and Joel Baldwin on behalf of the State of Mississippi.
