Construction activity at the Center for Grace & Healing on the Blue Mountain Christian University campus in Tippah County, Mississippi, continues to advance, according to Local Source. During week 28 of the building project, workers focused on several key phases of development.
Site updates include ongoing structural steel erection, which provides the framework for the new center. Additionally, the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) underground rough-in work persisted to prepare for building systems. Rebar and wire mesh installation for the elevated concrete floors also continued, ensuring structural stability.
The first sequence of elevated concrete was successfully poured and completed, marking a significant milestone. Other site preparations included termite treatment installation, as well as the addition of insulation boards and vapor barriers to enhance energy efficiency and protect the structure from moisture.
This project aims to create a state-of-the-art facility for spiritual and health services at Blue Mountain Christian University, and construction progress is on schedule. Additional details were not immediately available.
