Grenada Man Arrested for Making Terroristic Threats in Tupelo
Tupelo, Miss. – August 4, 2025 – A Grenada man has been arrested in connection to threats made against a government agency in Tupelo.
According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers responded to Saddle Creek Drive on July 17 after receiving reports of a threatening message left by an individual. The message included a statement threatening to “blow up” a government agency.
Following an investigation, 27-year-old Tommy A. Poole, of Grenada, was arrested on July 29 and formally charged with Making a Terroristic Threat.
Later that same day, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Poole’s bond at $25,000. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further review.
Authorities have not released additional details about the nature of the threat or the specific agency involved.
The investigation remains ongoing.
