Non profit director pleads guilty
Non profit director pleads guilty in scheme to send over $1 million in welfare and emergency food assistance money to business instead.
Mississippi nonprofit operator Christi Webb pleaded guilty to a federal charge after directing $1.1 million in federal welfare dollars to companies owned by ex-WWE wrestler Teddy DiBiase Jr.—the son of the “Million Dollar Man,” Ted DiBiase Jr.
The welfare money feds say Christi Webb directed to Teddy DiBiase Jr.’s businesses included $700,000 in Temporary Assistance For Needy Families funds and $497,987 in Emergency Food Assistance Program funds—federal programs meant to help the poor.
