North Tippah School District Offers Free Veterans Pass for Local Heroes

The North Tippah School District is showing its appreciation for those who have served by offering a free Veterans Pass for admission to all regular season home athletic events.

The initiative is open to all U.S. military veterans and active service members, including those serving in the Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve branches, as well as retired veterans.

Passes can be picked up at the North Tippah School District Office by presenting proof of service, such as a military ID, DD214 form, or a driver’s license with a veteran designation.

The Veterans Pass is valid for athletic events held at Falkner Attendance Center, Walnut Attendance Center, and Chalybeate Elementary throughout the school year.

District officials say the program is a way to say “thank you” for the service and sacrifices made by members of the armed forces.
